Meet Doctor Sarah Karsmarski MTCM, D.AC, AP

Dr. Sarah Karsmarski is a board-certified and licensed Acupuncture Physician in Saint Augustine, Florida, with over 15 years of clinical experience. She earned her degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, California, where she began her first private practice as a Chinese Medicine Primary Care Physician. Dr. Sarah also holds licensure as a Doctor of Acupuncture in Rhode Island, where she ran a thriving practice for 7 years before relocating to beautiful Saint Augustine with her family.

- Integrative Medicine in China (2012): Completed advanced study in Hangzhou hospitals, working with specialists in women’s health, mental health, pediatrics, and nutrition

I blend classical Chinese medicine with modern integrative techniques, using acupuncture, herbs, cupping, moxa, and lifestyle guidance. Facial Treatments
Facial Rejuvenation is acupuncture done on specific points of the face, followed by facial cupping and gua sha, for glowing skin. The goal of facial rejuvenation is to restore a youthful appearance by reducing wrinkles, tightening sagging skin, improving facial contours, and addressing other concerns such as age spots or uneven skin tone.
Microneedling/Nanoneedling appointments also available for safe and effective way to address aging. Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin treatment using fine needles to create tiny punctures in the top layer of the skin. These punctures trigger the body's natural healing process, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, that are responsible for skin firmness and elasticity.

Appointment FAQ
- Many health concerns whether mind, body or spirit can be treated with Chinese Medicine, and are often if not always connected.
- Please come dressed in comfortable clothing when you can.
- Though Dr. Karsmarski is trained in several styles, she is known to be gentle and use Japanese techniques with needles.
- Please make sure to have eaten within 2 hours before the appointment.
- At this time we do not accept insurance but can provide you with a superbill if applicable. Most HSA accounts can be used for services.
- Telehealth consult appointments are available-call to book.
Cosmetic treatments do come in packaged rates.
